7 months agoI have been craving sushi for the past two weeks, and this place satisfied that craving. Now I've had sushi here and there but this place takes the cake. Everything is freshly made with good service and presentation. I ordered the California roll (8 pieces) and a miso soup to go. Every piece was heaven, and I could taste the fresh ingredients. It literally felt like the sushi was melting in my mouth, that's how good it was. This place is a must. I highly recommend you stop by here for that sushi craving!

7 months agoFirst off the staff at this Toro Toro location were great! They were attentive and helpful with suggestions at the register. Then, while waiting for the food, I got to watch how fast and concise each worker and station worked so smoothly to put the many many many orders together. I got the 75 piece signature box and it blew my mind. I shared it with a few friends and we were stuffed in a good way. The awesome flavors and fusion will keep me coming back for more. Also the design of the resto was well done with clean lines and beautiful wood panels and walls. The seating area was small but was more than enough for my friends and I. This place was clearly designed mainly for take out. Definitely worth the hype!

7 months agoI loved that the staff informed us of the delay before ordering our box; the staff was very friendly, and the location was clean. The Sushi itself was very good. I can’t say the last time I ate sushi, and everything was delicious. Each one had a different flavour palette, making this an enjoyable meal.

7 months agoWhen it comes to price, quality, and value, Toro Toro is second to none. Flavours and combinations are well thought out and executed with a higher degree of care than what you'd typically find at this price point. They have a great selection, offering up unique rolls and favourites like Aburi. Their take away boxes are well thought out, have an excellent variety, and truly can't be beat at that price. Definitely worth a stop or if you're ordering in, its really one of the best options. Highly recommend!

7 months agoI eat sushi very often, so it is hard to impress me really, but your tasting set for 2 is soooo good. We loved absolutely every part of it! Also the packaging - every detail of it is very fine. I will definitely come back!

7 months agoMy rating: 8.2/10. I came for the sushi burritos, and wasn’t disappointed. Unlike other sushi burritos that I’ve had in the past, this one wasn’t just a sushi roll that hasn’t been cut up. It had extra ingredients, sauces, and was presented really well such that it was more akin to a burrito than rolled up sushi. The packaging was very nice, and the burritos come with a sweet tempura style sauce. They are on the smaller side, but it’s sushi so that is to be expected. The fish was high quality and fresh, and the “burritos” tasted fantastic. They were quite messy because there is no bottom to the role, so everything can come out the bottom end if you take the paper off, and the fish in in large chunks so you don’t have the regular mix of small ingredients that a typical burrito has, but overall it was very good. I would certainly go back, and look forward to trying other menu items next time.

7 months agoAfter reading the reviews we were really curious and they didn't disappoint, after checking twice for indoor seating area, which is very limited, we decided to order take out. We took it to our hotel room. But what an awesome sushi it was, 100% good quality, a lot of fresh fish. We had the signature dish 50 pcs. It simply was awesome.

7 months agoMy friend and I had been wanting to try this place for a while since we’d heard so many people talking about it. We finally ordered takeout for lunch! I was a little worried at first that the portions might not be enough for the two of us, but it turned out to be super filling—we even had leftovers! We tried the Hidden Dragon, The Empress, and the shrimp poke. Everything was delicious!
